As a fan, I have to say PLEASE DON"T DO THIS!

If the movies were never done, you could have done it ala Vampire Diaries and Secret Circle. While those series are loosely based on the books, the TV programs have gone off in entirely different directions, enabling the programs to continue.

The backwards concept worked with Buffy the Vampire Slayer, but lets be honest, the only connection between the 2 was the name Buffy! Love them both but so very different.

I'm with you QueenJane, PLEASE DON'T DO THIS! It would not be Twilight without the same actors. Period! And as a tv series they would change the story to keep it going and add characters that don't belong. IMO tv would ruin it!

Being as I watched Twilight BEFORE i read the books... I automatically got the casts images burned into my memory and can NOT imagine anyone replacing them. It was bad enough when they replaced Victoria. You just CANT do that. They need to let it be. They can still release stuff from the CURRENT movies and make money... its not like fans are just gonna QUIT the whole saga after part 2 is released... they are still gonna be out there. Go w/ what Bill Condon suggested and release a FULL LENGTH breaking dawn version... or convince SM to finish MS and release somethin on THAT. Dont ruin the special-ness of it with cheesy sitcom crap. If you want a vampire sitcom, watch Vampire Diaries.

This was an important question for me also . Because I got addicted so late into the series...its like I sorta missed the fun boat a lot if others here got to ride ( premiers , parties etc) And many people are blabbing up the hunger games as well. I do feel a momentum waining a bit. Really though, look at the star wars saga. They had one movie essentially to obsess about from the 1970's.then later on more movies were made . So respectfully its possible for fans to keep going on something that has essentially an end. But I had to ask myself a few questions..I think its a more private thing. But in order for it to be private and what I mean by private is that fans will continue to have dissussions and parties etc . But the media might not be involved as much.

As far as the stars are concerned they are capable of digitally correcting age . Not that sequels should ne strung out years and years from now..I'm taking about a max of 5 years probably. With all that they did with kristen in BD part 1 I would think they could tweak a few crows feet here and there.

But i also believe that what we take away from this story is an inner sense of self. It's deeper than Hollywood . And there are even more great stories to be written and shared by both SM and other up and coming authors. I was thinking that years from now I would certainly still be having all night movie watching parties with my friends even if we are looking at a cult classic..

The one thing I think should be taken away from this is what its doing for you...because ultimately your the star of your own show and that has even more value over loving these characters. Discovering who you are Will last a lifetime as well....
