Oh Lee, I'm so sorry that your doggy past away.... Can only agree with mom: they become part of our families, too.
I always took comfort in the thought that they had a good live with us, were loved... so much more than so many dogs can say all over the world.

Thanks for all your consoling thoughts gals,
We buried Amber in the garden I couldn't bear to give him to the vet to be incinerated.The kids came so we had a full house and Alan took all the big dog things that he can use for his.Now there is only Tommy's little bed and his little bowl in the hall it looks so empty.
The neighbours said Tommy had barked for a solid 2 hours on Saturday so they thought something was up! He is a bit lost because his cuddly pal is missing they always cuddled up together.I left my door open last night so I could hear him just in case and he stayed in front of my door not in his bed.

I have lost another 700 g so that's 3,4 kilos in 3 weeks.I will ring Cathy later and see how she has done.

@nic-hope Justin's confirmation went off ok dear and the weather stayed nice.

We have got a big party on the 5th and the forecast is rain typical.But we have a big tent so it will still be outdoors about 50-60 people are planned.Alan,Maria and Norman all celebrating Bdays.

Good morning everyone,

Today we're celebrating our queens birthday


So it's a bank holiday in Holland. Tomorrow, on May Day, we have to work .
But at least it's going to be a sunny and warm day here (we don't had the 30 C East and South Germany had over the last day's)... So we're going out later, enjoying some sun

@Nic: confirmation went well? What did you bake? . Could you sit in the garden or was it too cold for that?

@Lee: 3,4 kg?! Mr. Holland is on a diet (sort of), too. But I'm doubtfull he'd lost much. Not a lot of discipline

Hi ladies!
Finally a day were I don't have to clean, bake, put things away or stuff like that! Today I won't do anything! Well, I already did some sports, but that's something I like
Konfirmation went great! @ holland ( I have to admit I didn't get to bake your cake, but it's sure on my to do list!!! Probably for Justins Bday in three weeks! )
Justin had to read a text in church and everybody said he did better than our priest
At the restaurant we had some seating problems at first, because they didn't count in the kids chairs and the two chairs where the babys where to 'sit' on, so we had to get an additional table and four of our group had to sit appart from us! But other than that it was very good!
At home we had the coffee upstairs but since the weather was so nice we all sat outside later and the kids where jumping on the trampoline while the babies where sleeping on the bankets
Justin can afford his laptop now and is very happy about that! (Me too, since he won't be bothering me about mine anymore )
Yesterday we had the neighbours over for coffee so on sunday eve after everybody was gone I had to clean up again, do the laundry to get the table cloths clean and redecorate for monday!

All in all it was a very nice day but I'm happy it's over now!
This morning I watched 'My best friends wedding', and right now I'm roaming the net a little! Nothing to do today! Except eating the leftover cake but that's a task I can manage!

Same here: till yesterday 26 C in Berlin, and this weekend - when I'm going - it's dropping to 19 and rain .

Well, I was busy doing the happy dance after holland told me she would come to BC
Now I really can't wait for June to come! I even made contact to some other nice girls on the BC boards!

Due to some trouble with my mailbox (that is fixed by now) i couldn't work all night... so I just enjoyed my new GoT app, some facebooking etc etc...

@Lee: Hope you had a fun evening anyway.

@Nic: looking forward to some fun days with you and the Salvatores. Pictures of me and Stefan and me and Damon on my wall - definitely worth a hundred bugs.

@Sis: diet is going quite well (surprisingly ). Lost 2 kg, not too bad. yep, still in my baking phase - making my co-workers happy .
