Cricut and Cricut Expressions - all discussions here!!

I have been looking at the Cricut lately. (Late night infomercial sold me) I have even convinced my hubby we need one.(he too loves those informercials) So when I went to Roberts Crafts they also had to Cricut Expressions. :? hmmm. This looked amazing and then I wanted to wait and get one of those. So anyone have an opinon? Is it worth it to get the bigger and more expensive one or should I just get the regular one? I am just dying to get one period!

I'm trying to avoid the whole Cricut thing. Not that I don't want one... I do, but it seems like you buy something great and then the new improved version comes out. If I did break down and buy one it would be the larger one. Someone on the activities committee had one and made this really cool looking poster. I was envious.

The bigger one has my vote.

Cricut Expressions for sure!!! Was at a weekend retreat and about 20 people had just the cricut and one person had expressions. By the end of the retreat 5 people had purchased the expressions. Got to play with it a little and loved it... The Fit to page feature it worth it right there

I think its a matter of price...

I have the smaller regular old cricut.

i love that thing!! love love love it! I can sit and just play with it all afternoon and make a bucket full of goodies that i can pluck from when i sit down with a project.

and now with the markers that hook up to it!! ome!!

I like my smaller one as its under my desk on a shelf when not in use. and easier to bring with me ( not that i ever have ) if I were to crop somewhere else.

i have a 12x18 printer - So if I do have need for something bigger I can figure out someway of using that instead.

If you're looking at investing in somethign - Id rather have the bigger printer that i can do more with - ( like print out 12x12 pages )
    and have the smaller cricut...

or if the skies the limit - have both

The cricut hooks up to the computer now too - thats made it soo much easier to use ( except when my puppy ate thru the wire and suddenly it wasnt working anymore )

    www.twopeasinabucket.com
is the ultimate scrapbooking website - if you do search for cricut under their general scrapping message board - you can sit for hours reading thru all kinds of threads about it

Yes so I have Expressions one and it is amazing! I love the large look so the expressions does that for me. I found a great deal on line at www.hallmarkscrapbook.com
They always have discounts on cartridges and machines. Love it! So my vote is the expressionos because it also comes in handy for porjects and stuff for school or whatever!

I have the cricut right now got it as a gift from my brother for Christmas. But now i am just counting the days till i can get my expression. I make a lot aof greeting cards and having to try and fit them through the cricut is kinda hard. But what i love the most right now has to be the program that my husband found fro me which is Sure-cuts-alot. I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE it any font on my computer can be cut out on my cricut and all .svgs also. it has just made my cricut 1000 times better. So i hope you enjoy your cricut which ever one you get.

Oh by the way the website for sure-cuts-alot is www.edgecraft.com
awesome place you should check it out if you have a cricut

Oh boy, I will run out of this thread before I get hooked on another craft item and start adding it to my already over-stuffed craft collection!

Just be careful on that program because I just looked it up on google to check it out. There were many ladies on cricut.com who downloaded it and it ruined their usb port and other things won't work now since they downloaded it. I would definatly research it out before downloading anything
