There was no option for me - I had to read it and I'm so happy that I did. I can't imagine my Twilight experience without Midnight Sun now.

You ladies have written my sentiments perfectly.
I came to my TW obsession just recently, two months ago.
When I had re-vamped numerous times, I started exploring stepheniemeyer.com, noticed the link MS but did not click on it at the time. I had no idea it was leaked. Just assumed it was another book she had written or was about to write in the TS, so next time on the internet I googled Stephenie Meyer Midnight Sun and up popped the draft with her trademark on every page. Please tell me this was not the illegal copy. It sounded on this thread like I would need to pay for the bootleg which I would have then realized was illegal, so I'm hoping it wasn't.
I started to read and when I came upon errors, typos, etc I wondered if this was actually fanfic even with the trademarks. What was going on? Didn't finish reading and next time I entered through SM website and found out the actual betrayal that had caused SM to post the draft.
What a hidious way to have her baby stolen from her. Prematurely sent into the world unpolished and half finished without her permission. I support SM 100% in her decisions and send healing positive thoughts and prayers.
Since SM had chosen to give her fans the option to read or not to read, I gave into my obsessive need and finished MS. Someday I hope to have a copy to match TW, if and when possible. THX for listening.

I read it as soon as I heard about it. Love it so much and hope that one day Stephenie will finish it. There's something about it that just makes reading Twilight even better seeing things from both Bella and Edward's perspective.

I really hope that Stephanie finishes the book. I only have a computer at work. The guest house that I rent is set back on my landlord's property. The phone and cable lines are not set up, so I would need to get their permission to run lines down the property and pay for it. I understand why Stephanie will not allow the printing of her draft and it's too hard to read Midnight Sun at work. I keeping my fingers crossed that she will finish and publish the book.

I read it on her website after New Moon came out and I had finished all the books. I agree with Briar because it enriched my experience 100%. I do not agree with individuals leakin SM's book and I hope that one day she will release it as a hard copy.

Pretty sure I posted this before. If I was in your position and it might endanger losing my job, I would go to an internet cafe to read MS online.
If it must be at work - read at lunchtime. Delete the file after you are done.
Assuming you don't have a laptop that you can download it to cuz once downloaded you don't need the internet to access it again. I read it off my laptop
as DH drove us on a trip.
