For some reason, this part sticks in my mind. In fact, the whole of Chapter 25, "Favor", is one of my favorites; this is when Charlie comes to visit the day after Bella's transformation:

"Charlie smelled more delicious than anything I'd ever imagined. As appealing as the anonymous hikers had been on the hunt, Charlie was doubly tempting."

Poor Bella! Her own dad smelled so tempting! How hard that must have been for her! I knew she'd have the control, and everything would work out, in the end, but I was so happy that she was able to have him in her life. I just love me some Charlie.

Another favorite quote I came across is when Bella is waiting for Charlie to visit and she asks for Renesmee... "I need her, she keeps me calm."

This moment was so perfect, so right, there was no way to doubt it. His arms wrapped arounf me. holding me against him....It felt like every nerve ending in my body was a live wire. "Forever he agreed, and then pulled us gently into deeper water. (Ok it's more like a passage but I can't help it I get goosebumps when I read this part.

I love the part when Bella first awakens as a vampire. The situation in regard to a danger in the room and she supposedly being the danger, and her first touch & kiss w/Edward as a vampire...so touching, with a little Emmett humor thrown in. Anyway, here we go . . . chapter 20/pg. 395

Bella: How different this kissing was! I read his [Edward's] expression as I compared the indistinct human memories to this clear, intense feeling. He looked...a little smug. "You've been holding out on me," I accused in my singing voice, my eyes narrowing a bit.

Edward: He laughed, radiant with relief that it was all over - the fear, the pain, the uncertainties, the waiting, all of it behind us now. "It was sort of necessary at the time," he reminded me. "Now it's your turn to not break me."
