Ahhhh the Mer/Der McSaga. =/ I love those two, but sometimes I just want to get off that roller coaster. In fact, I started shipping Gizzie a while back. Then I rewatched seasons 1-3 and couldn't help thinking that Iz (since Denny is gone :[ ) is better with Alex.

Am I too old to be such a 'shipper? XD

I love Grey's!! I am really tired of the whole Merideth/Derek storyline *ducks flying objects* I loved them in the beginning but Merideth has really been getting on my nerves these last couple of seasons and I think Derek deserves better. But yea I don't like Rose that much either

I agree with you as well! I think having the Rose character will make Meredith realize what she is losing in Derek. Also, I have read that our own Esme is coming back on to the show. I wonder if her appearance is going to throw a wrench into the whole Alex/Lexi relationship. Oh one more thing..Izzie needs to let go of George...yuck! Hate that relationship too!

You know, a couple of months ago I would have pleaded with you to give them a chance (George/Izzie). But not only did re-watching the seasons give me perspective, but that last episode this season was full of wonderful Alex/Izzie moments ("she brightens you").

I don't miss Addison as much but I do Preston. He is the only one who would put up with Christina's "trash". Now the new heart surgeon and Christina DO NOT get along!! I'm wondering though (and this is because I read an interview with the actress playing her) if the producers are going to put those two in sort sort of "relationship"? I also need to see something happen with McSteamy because he just seems to be "floating around" and there are no storylines with him in it (Dr. Torres anyone?) Hum... :?

I've always thought both Callie and McSteamy were underutilized. Both actors are terrific and both characters are very interesting (at least in my opinion they are).

I think the most unfortunate thing that happened to Callie Torres is that she wasn't given the chance to develop (character wise) before getting married off. She was more of a prop than an actual character, which I found sad. Funny enough, one of my favorite moments in Grey's history is when she is caught dancing around in her underwear (and shades!). I've always thought it was such a brave and confident moment.

McSteamy is another "prop" type character to me. He serves to give McDreamy more McAngst. I was hoping for such more more for him this season. In the early parts of this season he was chumming with Derek and I loved that. I also loved the "gentlemen's night out". But all that just stopped. I know, WGA strike didn't help, but still. Less Mer/Der angst, more let's give other characters the spotlight.

I do not miss Addison much either (I was very surprised when she was given her own show, to be honest). I loved Preston Burke though. I miss him every episode because he grounded everything somehow.

I'm into Grey's as well, though I agree with previous posts that it had seemed to go downhill slightly, but I still injoy it. I also think that Meredith and Mcdreamy should just get together asap, but I;m not a writer so. . . Also I agree with Izzie/Alex athough I did like the character "eve' or whatever (our Esme :wink: ) I guess I just gotta hold my breath till I see what its all about huh?

I really hope that when Grey's comes back, it will be as good as it was in the first 2 seasons. There were so many one-liners and it was such great dialogue. Last season? Not so much. I'm so over whiney, frog-lipped Merideth. And George and Izzy definately need to go, put Izzy back with Alex.

i too am very excited for new grey's anatomy episodes!! i am very sick of the whole derick/meredith thing.. derick deserves SO much better!
