I am in Los Lunas, and know of at least a dozen fans here in the area, some are teen girls but many could by TM's.

YEAH New Mexico TwiMoms. I was looking around the other day and completely missed this forum.
I am in ABQ, right in Uptown.
My 17 yr old son insisted I read them. Now I tell perfect strangers about them.
I've turned a couple of pals onto them but no one is obsessive about it like me. I swear I don't even have an obsessive personality, but OME, all I do is read these over and over again!
Borders uptown says they'll be doing a midnight release party. Is anyone around here planning to attend? I will not wait until morning!

Since I am in Los Lunas; driving up to Albuquerque and back after midnight is just a little scary. SO since I want to get in as much reading as I can, I am just going to get it at Wal-mart. Then race home an read until my eyes won't focus.
But I have off Dec 12th! I am hoping they will have a sneek peak or something earlier; If Century Rio shows it at midnight I will be there!

I think we have to get talking and make it happen. . . I am in Uptown. . .
Perhaps we should start somewhere and choose a theatre. I suggest Century Rio 24 as being the most central and easiest to get to from all areas since its right off the freeway and has plenty of parking.
Next, we can probably assume that the first showing will likely be a 12:01 a.m. showing. . . I am SURE I will be there, but, I know that may not be feasible for most. While we seem to be a small online group I do have several friends that are fans but aren't particularly blog-minded, but would participate.
So what are your thoughts?
I had talked to Glitterskin months ago, but haven't heard from her in a while. She had suggested getting together for mushroom ravioli dinner (lunch if we do the matinee?), paperbags to ward off hyperventilationand a couple other things that I can't remember. Perhaps we can check out the plans of other TwiMom groups. I prefer to keep it on the simple side and not get overly elaborate, just to keep it fun!

So far the only place having the midnight release is at the Century Rio. Whos game. I am more than willing to go sit in line starting at noon for us all to get good seats. message me and i will give you my phone number ::

If there are any NM TMs wanting and willing, hunnybees and me are planning to attend the first showing in ABQ at Century Rio. We're talking about how early we plan to show up to hold a place in line and maybe some while we wait activities like trivia and listening to the audio books to kill time.
We sure would like it if some other TMs would like to join us! Help us make it a jun but low-keyed event.

Just an update ....They have sold out of the 1201 showing of twilight at the century rio, they have 1202 and 1203 showing avail, when i called they said that they had a very limited seating for either showing. when i asked for three seats i was told they did not have enough for the 1202 show. I am going to go see if I can get them from the Cottonwood. If anyone would like to meet up there I will do everything I can to make it fun and twilightrific ! and i plan to be in line no later 4 pm , earlier if i need to , for some good seats.
